I miss the old bloat-free technology (not the picture quality though). These days, software updates add latency to your volume adjustments until you buy a new TV.

May I suggest considering Kodi or similar running on an old laptop or raspberry pi?

I’m not, but I’ve used TVs that are. They belong to family members, and I have no intention of signing myself up for additional tech support duties 😂
