The Irish state broadcaster RTÉ has said it will not take part in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest “if the participation of Israel goes ahead”.

    Israel: “We are a 10,000 year old nation of ethnic Israelis with distinct customs and culture tied to this very piece of soil, squarely afixed to Asia Minor.”

    Also Israelis: “Let us into Eurovision. We’re all Europeans over here and our PM is basically from Philadelphia.”
