That’s weird, the ad network is configured to start videos muted by default.

This app is great. The Dev had an equally great “other site” app. The best I can tell from using both for several years now… It’s one person.
So, buy them a cup of coffee or deal with the Ads.
Try useing a foss Lemmy client. No loud ads because there are no ads.

Anyway launching the rocket is pretty cheap and helps rmayayo spend more time working on this
i did during the move from reddit, i’ve been meaning to do it here as well but i’m waiting to have income i can throw at apps lol
Go to the about page in the app and report it as a bug then. I paid to have no ads and even i would suggest to you to use a different app that doesn’t have ads because it’s rather insane to have them on a free website.
