So he bailed out, which is normal enough, except for the part where he made it clear he intended to flee. Fuck me. He actually said that, out loud. Also, he was dumb enough to admit to the cops that he did indeed intend to lure a minor for sex. Jesus.
Then they kicked it down to the local DA’s office. Yeah, I’ll bet that attorney has pull to get him extradited from Israel.
But you have to admit, the administration has a plausible statement here, “We got nothin’ to do with it.” Proving the lie is probably not possible without a whistleblower.
