A phone application that has a queue when you open it before it displays your account information.
Lol and I just got an email this morning that they are reducing rewards to keep prices down, this must be another cost cutting measure. limit the number of people that can use your app at any given time.
i cant wait for black friday so i can dump these cheap-asses
I don’t really care about the rewards, but I did roll my eyes at the email.
I just got back from a year in Austria, where I was paying €9,90 a month (with the first 3 months free!) for unlimited calling and 60GB of data with Europe-wide roaming, and Public seemed like the best deal at ~3x the cost for less.
Canadian phone plans really do suck.
i swear there are 3rd world countries with better phone plans than us. its really pathetic how badly the crtc has screwed us.
I also use them, but my phone bill is only $25/month.
Where can one go to get something close to the same price?
Idk where Public Mobile is located, but Mint Mobile in the US has plans even below $25/month
Public Mobile is Canadian. Owned by Telus
Your best bet would likely be to try one of these
(If the link doesn’t work, it’s the Mobile Virtual Network Operators)
Most country mobile networks have like 3 or 4 major operators who actually own their towers and networks, and then operate a bunch of lower cost “virtual” network operators either wholly owned by the major operator or renting a subset of network usage.
Generally the major operators don’t have super low cost plans, but the Virtual Networks do
Chatr and Freedom have annual prepaid plans that work out to less than $25/month, if you don’t mind the risk of using up your data too early in the year. Koodo has similar plans except they’re for 360 days instead of a full year.
I’m guessing they pass the server cost savings to you? 😅
