          It’s actually refering to “Eternal September” in 1993 (not 1994) when AOL gave its users access to Usenet, flooding these previously academic/tech communities with newbies who didn’t know the etiquette - essentially marking when internet culture began to be permanently diluted by mainstream users.

    They won’t push the Fediverse because it can’t be monitized. That’s why these “techocrats” constantly push for the AT protocol. Its all just a way to squeeze money
