    Physics always “has a problem”. That’s the point. In the case of previously unobserved or unexpected phenomena, theory by default lags behind. Give them a chance to finish their homework.

    Or if it is new, theory will come to explain it. This is the way physics always works. It’s not a “problem” in the sense of an issue. It’s a problem in the sense of a puzzle. Though typically it’s an old puzzle we haven’t yet recognized as an old puzzle
