9/11 was early in the Bush presidency, it probably would have happened if Al Gore was president.
There’s a chance the US response would have been different, but I won’t hold my breath, although it would be likely we’d have much better climate policies

We 100% would have invaded.
Would we have stayed so long? Probably, TBH. Obama stayed, and pendulum would’ve swung back to McCain anyway.
