I was aware that phone apps hoover up private data but I had no concept of the scope of it until I enabled the DuckDuckGo App Tracking Protection.
*I find the free version of the AccuWeather app to be quite good. I wouldn’t run it or recommend it without tracking protection though. Holy cow.

Yep it’s ridiculous. Accuweather is pretty bad, but Duckduckgo blocked 3342 tracking attempts on my phone yesterday, all from Google
Does duck duck go work better than blokada free?
It “only” blocks tracking requests to DuckDuckGo, right? Not universally, e.g. when I’m using another standard browser?
What is it? Like. Ddg made a security app?
