Seems to just be business as usual to me. Not really that crazy as WWE missed a couple of shows on their 10-year contract of two shows per year during COVID, and appears to be just doing the 1 show this year, so Royal Rumble is probably being tossed in as one of this years events on the deal.
Not that I like the doing shows with such a Government, but… TKO Loves MONEY!
…And the US Government isn’t looking much better than theirs right now.
It also helps that TKO and the Saudi’s are going all in on a boxing group together which means making the Saudi Tourism board happy. To bring this back around to WWE… conveniently their partnership was saved allegedly by Nick Khan stepping in to be a go between between the Saudi’s and Dana White but I can’t remember much of that off the top of my head, I think it was on Helwani that it was talked about.
