    Or you could fire your boss and form a worker cooperative run on consensus based decision making. Worker cooperatives succeed more than “traditional” businesses and have higher pay for their workers[1], despite being at a systemic disadvantage for seed capital. You don’t need an ai to boss you around, you and your coworkers can make collective decisions without any boss to speak of.

      I wish there were actual choices for people though, they may as well not exist with how rare they are. Great if you are lucky enough to get one of course but most are not.

      Wish that was possible. Unfortunately, at least in the US, most industries are consolidated into a small handful of giant corporations with tons of money so unions, much less co-ops, are impossible. I mean, even Ben and Jerry with all their money weren’t able to hold off the hostile takeover of their company and slow transitioning into a crappy, overpriced product. So sad about that one since it was one of the last remaining grocery store icecream brands that didn’t fall prey to shrinkflation of smaller “pints” and whipping.
