Whew, I’m off for the last mission on Dishonored and I must say that when I dropped all the pretense of being stealthy and not killing everyone, the game suddenly changed. For the better.
Yes, I tried to be stealthy but I made sure no one was around Corvo to tell the tale where he failed. And I felt less frustrated in the process.
I also need to learn to save and load more often, there’s no shame in that.
I’m an old school gamer, back in the days we had limited save points (and don’t get me started in limited save storage too)

But I do like it when games are made to suit different play styles. I love a good stealth game, but great to be able to fight my way out of a situation when it arises.
