For me it helps to establish that outward appearances are not good indicators of horrible people. You are welcome to make a list of pedo Dems. It’s very easy to google. I thought to start a comparison a couple years ago, and got to around 75 GOP before I even found a single Dem, at which point it didn’t seem worthwhile searching further. Pedo Dems exist for sure, but the conviction rate for GOP’ers is far, far, far higher. Reality is that the GOP attracts pedos, or somehow twists them into it.
