Not really a fan, but it’s pretty clear still. The “Star Trek ship” (Starship Enterprise?) isn’t exactly an obscure reference. 😄
It’s engagement bait
Bet
Yeah that caption was about as bad as they come. Cool mushrooms though.

Very “dad makes memes” 👍
Rotting Log, stardate 42113.7…
I just see a log? Is it like a captains log?
“Science officer’s personal log. The spore drive keeps bearing fruits.”
Discovery’s propulsion system is really getting out of hand.
Spore drive goes BRRRRR
Beef Wellingtons on the Starboard Bow!
See what? Death star?
Clearly the TARDIS.
I mean it’s a living ship, clearly it’s Moya
It’s a wraith hive ship.
It sucks that potentially neat real pictures will never be trusted as authentic with AI generation.
Photoshop made it somewhat questionable over the years, but there were still some signs and levels of difficulty.
Now? next to impossible to know.
Not exactly scientific, but it didn’t look fake to me.
Looks fake to me, the way the caps and stems are aligned doesn’t make sense with how mushrooms grow and there’s no way they could have an inrolled cap that flat without gills/pores running down the stem. There’s no space for the cap to have unrolled into that shape.
I think you’re right. The magic is gone now.
Oh shoot I sees it, does that mean I’m subconsciously a nerd
A nerd? On my science forum?
… It’s more likely than you think!
