There may be a caveat: the ingredients likely aren’t all from Canada, and might even be from the States.

If you truly want “Canadian cereal”, oats (steelcut, rolled, quick, etc.) are a safe bet, as we grow the oats here. 100% oats = Product of Canada (plenty of Canadian brands selling oatmeal).

That said, don’t let perfection be the enemy of good. I’m sure Farm Girl does source plenty of ingredients (especially the oat-based stuff) from Canadian farmers.

Yeah, welcome to the norm for gluten free things (that tastes good) 🥲. I’ve been getting it just because I’ve craved normal cereal since being diagnosed with celiac but it’s for sure hard in the bank account

Its definitely on the pricey side of the cereal options. Its really extremely different than anything Kellogg’s, Post or General Mills is making. High Protein, gluten free, no preservatives, these things unfortunately don’t come cheap.

Priced at $8.87 at Walmart, its still more than twice the price per gram of the similar looking cereals but the price of Cinnamon Toast Crunch is totally irrelevant is you need to eat gluten free or want something healthy that still tastes like a sugar cereal.

For everyone with a more standard diet there are plenty of other made in Canada cereals listed here: ShopCanadianStuff.ca/2025/03/09/made-in-canada-breakfast-cereals/

Looks delicious but a bit too small. I do get the InnoFoods cereal sometimes ($17 for 900g.) But I do not care about glutenfree and all that, can a Canadian company just make some big boxes of dessert-for-breakfast for me?
