President Trump was not informed of a recent Ukrainian attack on Russia, The Hill’s sister network NewsNation confirmed Sunday.

According to NewsNation’s Tanya Noury, an administration official said the president was not given a heads-up about the drone attack that a Ukrainian security official alleged destroyed more than 40 planes well within Russian territory, according to The Associated Press.

Why would he be informed about another country’s secret military operation that is being worked on?

Some people do consider him an ally, just not anyone in the west should want to be an ally of.

He is also more likely to be an unwitting accomplice or a stooge than an ally.

I don’t think anyone shares information on ongoing secret ops like these. Furthermore in earlier reports from US staff there was sentiment that UA forces share as little as possible because they see war differently to their US counterparts (for both objective and subjective reasons).

Op like this probably wasn’t shared even with top generals and full details knew even less people. And current Trump administration isn’t best known for their opsec. 🙃

This was an Op deep within enemy lines. I figure very few people knew about it.
