I don’t remember what exactly he said, but there is a video of Netanyahu (with Biden) saying something like 1,400 ‘Israelis’ dying is equivalent to 50,000 or so Americans dying.
It’s a good thing that he was speaking with the head of an empire and not the head of a microstate, such as the Pope.
And the response is proportionate and the only possible reaction
Russia is fighting an army, not civilians, and gave other options for Ukraine to stop the war without ignoring Russia’s concerns for its security, two things that aren’t the case for Israel, who’s mainly killing civilians, and the west isn’t offering any other alternative than “suck it, accept your loss”(, don’t expect a territorial exchange).
A similarity though is that we didn’t care about the deaths happening previously(, 14.000 in the Donbass during eight years, because they preferred their russian-ukrainian nationality to a european-ukrainian one, it may be ten times that amount now, and as many mourning families).
In fact the conflicts are many, even currently there’s like a dozen of them and most of them are ignored by our medias(, especially in Africa).
No words can express how much I hate this world with so much evil in it.

If we only look at the “Israel” graph we see that historically there are very few deaths and then a sudden unprecedented spike, thus Hamas is unprecedented evil and we don’t need to think about the history.
I feel sick from looking at this.
Then don’t look at a video showing a single victim, it’s worse than a graph picturing thousands of them.
And once you’ve seen both, every instance of each evokes the other.

What I would like to see more than this is civilians vs civilians deaths
not sure about Palestinians, but there are no “Israeli” civilians close to Gaza
Saddest part is that’s only what’s REPORTED! There are plenty more deaths going unreported because of destroyed hospitals, murdered reporters and lack of posting of what is happening (And for GOOD REASON! I’ve heard , I admit I only HEARD it, idk if it’s true, but apparently when Palestinians post addresses such as “please help me find my brother, he was last seen at his home at X Address, please contact for further information” and apparently IDF has bombed the locations that have been posted)
