      Eh, I can agree with the sentiment but not with the heuristic. We’re all just humans with roughly the same basic needs, tastes and functions.
      I mean on a hot summer day I’d be more than happy to agree with a fundamentalist extremist christian that strawberry ice cream is delicious.

        I believe you’re missing the point. Ice cream is not part of their hateful beliefs and thus not relevant, sex work is.

          That’s not what you wrote in the point to which I responded though. Based on “If you find yourself agreeing with fundamentalist extremist christians, conservatives and other patriarchs, reexamine that view.” I would have to reexamine my own fondness of strawberry ice cream.
          Which, apparently and fortunately, is not what you meant to convey, because it would be silly.
          Yes, having to reexamine something because it is an inherently hateful belief is a much better heuristic than having to reexamine something because any particular person said it.
