The only thing I question with this being the case. Apple wanted to start making software for cars, how can we trust that even remotely if this is happening?

The whole reason car software is usually so out-dated is because it has to be reliable and reliability isn’t easy. Apple was easily one of the more trustworthy companies with modern and reliable software.
